signing on dates in cork jobseekers benefit

    New signing on system operating in cork today. Seems to work ok. Anyone know when next signing on date is? Is there one in december or is it january? Overheard teller say january to girl in next booth. Mine just said i'll get a text which is grand. Just curious .

    Normally signing is excused for December with Christmas and all that lark. Your next singing date will be in January. It will be on the bottom of your post office receipt and you will get a text reminder the day before.

    I had some trouble last year going by the receipt aswell as the welfare's website (both were wrong). TBH, I'd ask at the office but if you get text reminders than it should tell you the day before.

    I've gotta sign again on the 6th of next month. Thought it was a bit strange as normally you skip December and sign again in Jan.

    I'd wait for the text reminder if I were you.
