    Hi ppl,
    Have a weird situation and I'm wondering if anyone else is in the same or could give me any advise it would be much appreciated.

    Basic I lost my job in the first week of sept and had to move home from County X to County Y cause I was in hospital so I signed on as soon as I could which was 9 weeks ago got my appointment handed in all my documents P45 etc etc etc 8 weeks ago was waiting patiently.....no problem got a letter yesterday saying:

    "I am writing to you about your claim for Jobseeker's Benefit. In order to make a decision on your claim please ask your employer to give details about your employment on the form enclosed."

    Turn page its a grid with cols for:
    Week, Days worked via X and O, Gross Pay for Week, PRSI class, PRSI deducted, Tax Deducted, Total hours.
    And on the top it says "Work backwards 52 week".

    This is what is confusing me cause I've been out of this job for 2 months and 3 weeks.

    It looks like the dept think you were working part time,you should call into your local office and make sure they are aware of your claim details.ie p45 issued and submitted.
