doing up the outside of the old house that is built with stone but was made 3 ft higher in the late 60 s with mass concrete.dont have a problem with rising damp but want to rain proof the new external plaster.the house is in a very exposed coastal location so the rain can driven on to the walls and i dont think lime render is going to cut it as you have extreme driving rain and concrete/stone in different places underneath.what are the options.
