    Meant to check this earlier today but never got around to it.

    The €1.50 fare is only on the 11.00 Sligo - Dublin service and the 16.00 Dublin - Sligo service.

    Gutted, these times don't suit me but the other times would have been perfect

    THat would only give you 2 hours in Dublin max if you took the 1.50 train both ways.


    Probably forcing you to take the full priced train one way which is probably the same price as the return.

    Saw this and went to book. €1.50 charge but you're paying €3 cc and transaction fee, and a return train is €14.99. Not too bad, but not for a spontaneous trip.
