    I have a few tv's in the house with dvb-c tuners, Is there a cheap device that will change a dvb-s / dvb-t mux to dvb-c ?

I see a few dvb-C pci cards that will transfer the output of the pc to a dvb-c

Try Google. However I suspect a Saorview or satellite STB would work out just as cheap in the end.

I'm not sure why anyone would sell a DVB-C tuner enabled TV in a market where no cable provider provides a CAM, but there you go.

    what TV's are they ?

dvb-s - the lnb would only be on one of four bands (H/V, 22KHz on/off) and a converter would probably only change one transponder , and the UK channels are all over the place so not worth doing even if you could

dvb-t similar story except there is only one saorview mux , with a computer and a lot of setup you could stream the raw bits and decode them elsewhere , not much use when the TV want's an encoded signal

PC - check the running costs, it's at least €1.50 watt per annum

some USB cards will allow you to take a raw output and decode that with a PC, hence some mpeg2 dvb-t cards can show mpeg4 HD stuff, because the PC is burning watts on the decoding,

    Actual new TV is cheaper.
