    Does any know the difference between total and weighted total when checking grades on blackboard ?

    None of my modules use it, but my guess is... if you get 90% in a mid-term exam, then the total is 90.
    However, if that midterm is worth 40% of the module.. the weighted total is 36%.

    That's just my guess.. I could easily be probably completely wrong.

    The Blackboard gradebook does not form part of the official weighting of exam results, it is for information only. Consequently, the weighted total might be meaningless for many modules. I wouldn't place too much "weight" on this value.
