    Hi..

Basically i need to order in a laptop that i want :-)

I have to buy this in Ireland which is the hard part in order to be able to claim some of this back. Would any shops (on the knowledge they are getting a guaranteed sale) order in an Ultrabook for me?

I am looking at the Acer Aspire S7 Windows 8 Ultrabook

    Amazon link: here

Anybody have any experience with something like this?

I'd say by the time you're done waiting for an answer here you'd have rung around all your local shops!

IMO, if a shop carries the Acer brand, there should be no problem ordering what you want from their supplier.

I don't know if that's available yet. One of our own guys here has been looking at getting one in for himself as a demo machine. With a few extras I think it's close on €1800! He says movies will look great on it!

    Care to explain why?

    As i see it..

    Light
Fully HD (For netflix/videos etc which id watch a lot of)
    Gorilla Glass
    Windows 8 (64 - Bit)
    Touchscreen
    i5 processor
4GB Ram.. plenty for what i need.
    128gb SSD as well..

    1800 is a stretch.. is 1400 on amazon.co.uk so i think 1800 is a stretch.

Saying its poor without any backup is just stupid
