Just wondering how long people get out of their shoes ?
this doesnt apply to people that get new everything every season or people that have 6 pairs and rotate :P

I have one pair, bought them in March and want to know if expecting them to last until Sepetember 2013 is too much ?
    they aint fancy

I wouldn't be buying them again if they didn't last that long!

What I would recommend if you are not doing it already is get the hang of leaving the shoes on the bike as you run into and out of transition, this will save wear and tear on the cleats. The shoes are nearly a permanent feature on my bike

I have a pair of bog standard Northwave shoes that I bought three years ago and must have done 12-15000 km. They don't do race day anymore (did up until 18 months ago) but they're still in great nick and will last another 15000km and probably more.

I have a pair of Nike Poggio's from 2003 and they are still in good nick, and there my only pair. no idea how many K's put in on them. although I have only done 3 tri's in them so there will not be much wear and tear from transitions,

Cycling shoes do not wear like runners, and you should be able to get a good few seasons out of them.

I'm still wearing a pair of specialised shoes I bought in 2002, I don't look after them in any special way and some of the rubber on the sole is starting to peel but they're still grand to wear.

If you're training and racing on them I'd expect to have to replace the cleats annually.

Amazing how different my attitude to shoes on the bike and run are.

My first pair of bike shoes (Spesh MTB) shoes I raced in for a season and then used for 100km commuting a week for 8 years. May they reset in peace.

Road shoes (Spesh S-Works) 5/6 years and going strong

For those rare races (Spesh Trivents) 5/6 years and going strong

    Spesh shoes are the dogs.

I had one par of Carnac TR-7s that died on me and one pair of Sidis that I bought and sold within a month.

Spesh are comfy, long lasting and very very ncie!

You should get a new pair;)
