(DVHS) D-VHS to PC transfer service available in Ireland?

    Hi all,

    a friend of mine has recorded something from US HDTV for me on D-VHS. Since I do not have such a player, I'm wondering if there's any company or any person offering to transfer the transport stream from the tape to a Harddrive. Preferably without re-encoding, but since this seems to be a major thing I'd be happy with any format that keeps up the 1080i resolution of the source footage. Any heads up on this is greatly appreciated. :)
