custom m4 giving strange trouble?...again

    hello all i built an m4 a while back its been working flawlessly but semi auto wasent working because the trigger was slipping past the trigger switch i put in a longer triggger to reach the king arms switch and worked flawlessly on saturday. then when i got home i reshimmed the bevel gear because it wasent just right. now its firing then not firing. the gun has a mosfet i think it could be that. what i mean when i say its firing then not firing if i hold my finger down on full auto it may fire for 6 or 7 shots then stop if i hold the trigger the battery or mosfet doesent get hot so the current must not be passing through correctly??? :confused: i was considering taking out the mosfet all together. i run the gun on 11.1 lipos (run everything on these) its doing the same thing on semi auto aswel.
    would really appreciate it if someone coud shed light on the situation
