Anyone know where I could find a 1.25mm hex key?.

On a side note thank you KWA for being awkward in using a counter sink screw with a 1.25 hex head .

You probably need a 1.3mm allen key, I don't think there's a 1.25mm one. Most decent hardware shops should have a set that goes from 0.9mm to 10mm.

VFC are worse, needing a 0.9mm allen key to take off the fire selectors on a SCAR.

As far as I know you're looking for an imperial allen key, hence your difficulty in finding a 1.25mm one; a 0.50" key should work perfectly :)

I think the worst allen screw for me is the teeniest tiniest ones that the only allen key I have for it is one I got free with a KJW M9...god help me if I ever lose that bugger :(

I think the decimal point is in the wrong place.

    Sorry about that!

A half inch Allen bolt is generally considered a bit hefty for airsoft. It'd be considered a bit hefty for the wheel of a car, in fact...

You are right, though. With small Allen screws, if you find your assortment of keys is always too big or too small, it's imperial. This is especially the case with grub screws. It's worth investing a fiver in a small set.

Soz dude don't ever use imperial measurement. Not unless it specifically is in imperial measurement, still though help is appreciated none the less, anyways where can i pick up a set of hex keys?.

Not many people do. I'm special in that I speak both languages...

In that size, imperial or metric, any decent tool store should have them. Even B&Q should, really. I got a set of Stanley micro keys in B&Q for a fiver a few months ago when I was stuck for a 2mm.
If you're really stuck finding them, or if you're willing to spend a few quid extra to get a high quality set that'll last you for years (in my experience, small keys like that are prone to reaming fast if you get cheap ones), then go to someone like Fox Engineering in Rathcoole - or even online - and get a set of Beta or Facom ones. It'll cost you twenty quid or so, but they have distinct advantages.

Metric sizes in Allen keys usually stick to .2mm size increments in sizes below 2mm. It's incredibly rare to find a .05mm increment of any kind, so I'd say you'll be a lot faster looking for a .05" or 1/20" size instead. I know KWA listed as a metric, but I assure you it's imperial.

1.25mm is a standard metric size (I actually have one in my hand), however, nearly all metric sets start at 1.5 mm and go up to 10mm.

Any good tool supplier should be able to get you one. If you're really stuck, pm me, I think I have more knocking around somewhere. :)

I can honestly say I've never had one. Any time I needed one, I had imperial.

Facom do a lovely set of Allen drivers that go down to 1mm, though. Big grips on them for fiddly use, and magnetised tips.

I'll have a knock around town the weekend and see what i can find, thought sizes like that would be rare enough to find in a shop, cheers steve appreciate it.

Funnily enough inari i have to remove a mag release to put in the G&P ambi mag release which i'll be buying from your shop shortly :).

I like FACOM gear, the hex t-bars are brilliant!
