'An Evening with The Roches' hosted by The Garda Cycling Club

    Hi Guys,

    Just thought I would make you all aware of this night that Garda CC are putting on in Westmanstown Sports Centre, Dublin 15 on the 12th December 2012.

    It's a 'Q&A' and 'Meet and Greet' with Stephen and Nicolas and there will be ten cycling trade companies there as well.

    The Garda Cycling Club are proud to announce that on Wednesday 12th December 2012 they will be hosting, in Westmanstown Sports and Conference Centre, Westmanstown, Dublin 15, 'An Evening with The Roches' sponsored by Richies Bikestore.


    Ever wondered what it takes to become an elite cyclist? Ever wondered what it would be like to win the Tour De France? This night presents you with an opportunity to ask Stephen Roche about those great experiences and to talk to Nicolas Roche about his new ventures with Saxo Bank/Tinkoff Bank and the Nicolas Roche Performance Team, and much more.

    Hosted by The Garda Cycling Club, this evening promises to be a fantastic experience for cycling enthusiasts. The event will be compéred by renowned cycling journalist, Declan Quigley. Guests on the evening will have the opportunity to 'Meet and Great' Stephen and Nicolas and take part in a 'Question and Answer' session. Stephen and Nicolas are not the only attraction at what promises to be an exciting night.

    On arrival all guests will be greeted with a mince pie and mulled wine reception, with light refreshments also being served at the interval. Top name manufacturers from the cycling industry will also be on site to display the best in cycling equipment including Ridley Bikes (who will be launching their 2013 collection at our show), Richies Bikestore, Santini Clothing, Sunglasses.ie, Spin 11, Cycling Ireland, Sports Food Ireland, Masita Sportswear, BBB, High 5 and Mavic along with a road safety awareness stand hosted by The Garda National Traffic Bureau.

    The Castleknock Hotel, Porterstown Road, Castleknock, Dublin 15, the accommodation partners for this event, will kindly be offering a very special rate of €79 per room B&B for our guests. // Tickets priced at just €20 for adults and €10 for U16 can be obtained by emailing rochenight@gmail.com or at Richie’s Bike Shop, Swords Co.     Sport injury consultant and former international cyclist Paul Tansey will be compere on the night.

    Tickets going fast so get them early to avoid disappointment!

    Hi,

    Not long now till this wonderful evening! Tickets are moving quite fast and there will be very limited tickets on the night. If you intend on joining us we recommend that you get your tickets in advance.

    Slight change to the line up on the night with former Irish international and sport injury consultant Paul Tansey now performing the role of compere on the night.

    Hope to see some boards lads there and make sure ya say hi!!

    An excellent night with the roches,nicholas came into the room about half 7 like a normal joe soap.stood around chatting signing autographs and posing for photos,very obliging and quiet fella,the nite began at 9 and went on till after half 10,Stephen was great with the young kids sittting at the front,answered all the questions very well and they both stayed till late, well done to everybody involved
