Stove door handle hot!

I recently put in a stove (inset) into the fire place, its fantastic, the only thing is the handle gets extremely hot. Im looking for a cool to touch handle or one of the spring type handles that stay cool.

Does anyone know where to source them, preferably on line. Thanks

Don't know where but my mate has a similar problem. He uses a welding glove.

they're so brilliant they're dangerous, I've started to think that I'm invincible when I have the glove on and shove things in a bit dangerously .

Welding furnace gloves are the same and half the price

edit : actually, Mr Mountains says that he didn't buy them for that price, he reckons he got them all paid and delivered for a tenner or so. They must be available elsewhere.

Thanks for the replies, a glove came with the stove and its handy alright, but would prefer a cool to touch handle.

I think the spring type handles disperse the heat very effectively but havent been able to find them.

alot of stanleys have a wooden handle. might be worth going to a stove supplyers and asking do they have any from returns/damaged in transit
