    Anybody know what this area is like. Thinking about renting a flat here but not too familiar with this street

    I live just around the corner. It's a good area. You have tesco and many other shops nearby, plenty of off licences, pubs, takeaways.

    It's only about 15-20 minutes walk to the city center as well which is handy.

    I've lived in the area for around 5 years and never had a spot of trouble.

    Great spot, one of the best wine/beer shops on the Northside too. (Lilac Wines).

    And thats still Phillipsburgh avenue yer talking about. OP is asking about Phibsboro Avenue. @Gavin I would have thought it would be more Dalyer territory (Shock Horror)
