There are a serious amount of cyclists out and about on our roads on the weekends.

I got stuck behind a good few of them on route from the Midlands to Glenmalure via Dublin on Saturday - they cycled in single file or two abreast as they saw fit and when it was safe to do so I passed them.

The biggest problem for me was ignorant motorists.

I don't care who reads it - I just wanted to give a contrasting experience of a drive that wasn't spoiled by cyclists but the thread was locked before I could post.

Hermy i totally agree with you,
i#m a cyclist myself and big groups of cyclists on the road are deadly dangerious to them selfs and others. i'm also a car driver.
i have in the past cycled in groups and really the only solution if the group is big enough is to break the group up into 6 riders per group leaving a gap big enough for cars to pass .

It was locked for a reason. If you had a problem with that you should have PM'd the mods or reported my post. Do not start a new thread because the other one was locked
