You know things are bad when you feel the urge to go onto the internet and post a story where nothing happens.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,400 ✭✭✭lukesmom

Yeah what did u think she was gonna do even if she wasn't married? Repay you for the favour by letting you jump start her? Too many movies :)

"Mom" is an Americanism. "Fit" is more of a London thing.

Possibly so, but I've heard the term "fit" being used by friends from Limerick since the '90s.

hmmm a guy was looking for directions earlier this year and after he pulled his car over to ask, we had a chat then ended up going out for dinner that Sat night. I didn't fancy him though so didn't see him again... insanely boring story, sorry.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,207 ✭✭✭The King of Moo

If she was so fit she could probably have pushed the car herself till it got going.

I used to always check them on teletext, but I suppose now that that's gone I might ask her if I could check them on the car radio, if I were in such a situation.

Was the jump start motivated by the sex. Would the OP leave a helpless old lady on the side of the road in a similar situation.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 548 ✭✭✭Wils110

Eh. No all I seen was a lady waving jump leads at the side of the road and I pulled in to help is all

Thought the jump leads were some sort of nipple clamps?

When you actually think about it, it's really fookin sad how much we judge women solely on their looks. "Hey, did you hear about the girl that topped herself last night?"... "No, was she fit?"

Do guys actually say that in that situation?
I find that hard to believe.

If I batt my eyes enough, will someone please go collect my husband from the bus stop?
I don't feel like going out again.
