JUST UNDER 3 WEEKS TO THE ICBA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS.

We will award our Championship belts to the winners of the Senior Sanshou Division 1. Those who have qualified already, can compete for the titles.

Attached are the current ranking points accumulated over the course of this year and all these qualify for division 1!

If you have not qualified you can do so by winning division 2 and competing!

Please be aware this is a Kung Fu Championship - so only Kung Fu fighters (or thoses affiliated with an ICBA registered Kung Fu school/organisation) can hold these belts, if you happen to win the event but do not represent a Kung Fu school you will be classes as the winner of the National Open!

We will also have a junior and teens National open and a Chinese Wrestling (Tui Shou) open over the course of the weekend. Contact us icbasanshou@gmail.com for full details.

THE ICBA IS THE ONLY KUNG FU ASSOCIATION ACTIVELY RUNNING EVENTS IN IRELAND! With 4 events this year and at least 5 planned for 2013 we hope to continue to push the Chinese Combat sports and develop fighters for future International events. This is the only way to legitimately enter an Irish team in events abroad and we can be assured to have well experienced Sanshou national Team fighters and not just an Irish Selection of fighters. Any old joe soap can pick a fight team, we want to develop one and have ouor fighters 'EARN' the right to represent our country. We don't want to see a repeat of what happened to a previous "Irish team" when they were sent unprepared to an international event!

THE ICBA ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS TO JOIN US AND HELP US ON THE COMMITTEE TO BRING ON WHAT WE HOPE WILL BE AN OLYMPIC SPORT IN 2020!
