Best Investment Advisors In Ireland?!

    Hi there,

I'm looking to make E110,000 work for me in the markets.

The thing is I have little investment experience and could well do with someone to "hold-my-hand" so to speak. I'm not looking for a small sum to aid me in my retirement years - I'm more so looking for some serious returns that I can grow and live comfortably on in a few years (I'm a young man).

It doesn't necessarily have to be in Ireland either...I'm open to Asian, American markets etc etc. Which has been the best service providers in your experience and why?

Nice position to be in Yousef ,my advice,go learn how to trade, its not rocket science if you you really want to learn and have a nice bankroll to start with.
50% return p/a is well attainable if you work hard /smart.
Be very carefull who you trust with your money ,and don't put all your eggs in any 1 basket.
Have you any interest in trading for yourself ?

    Thanks for the advice guys.

Is 2/3% return monthly crazy money to be promised? Because a friend of mine was speaking with a managed fund consultant and he was screaming that I could be making over 20k annually if I trusted them with my capital. They're called Swiss Private Capital based in NYC.

    Here are their website...

    http://www.swiss-private.com/

let me know what you think....

Yes, otherwise everyone would be using them and they would be world famous as one of the best investments on the planet. Not a hope of a return like that, all people would have to do is scrape together 100 grand and they could live off a return like that fairly comfortably.

You need to educate yourself about low cost passive index investing. Open a low cost online brokerage account follow the advice of Jack Bogle, Malkiel,W Bernstein, Larry Swedroe,Rick Ferri ect and you are done.If you are 25 and retire at 65, a 6% compound return over a 40 yr time horizan will give you well over 1,000,000,starting with what you have already saved.

At the end of the day who you deal with to help you with your investments is a question of trust.
Don't get bowled over by big talk. Look for tax efficient investments, and well diversified investments.
Pick your own targets for investment return, but be aware that the higher your target the higher the risk.

I am a professional advisor and I use a lot of different institutions. To be honest when picking between them it is a case of different strokes for different folks. There is no value in listing the "good" institutions as your own personal circumstances, your targets, tax status etc. will determine what suits you best.

    Please remember this:
In most cases the onus will be on you to monitor your own investments, and to make the ongoing decisions in relation to cashing in gains and/or changing the risk profile of your investments. There may be help along the way, but the buck stops with you!
