Anyone know where I can get beginning DJ lessons in Galway?? I really want to learn and have been looking for DJ schools or people giving lessons but no luck for Galway... Any tips?

How much would that cost roughly?

Do you have your own equipment? If so, save your money to buy music and go onto Youtube. Loads of videos there teaching you how to DJ. And practice as much as you can.

Ha ha there is a blast from the past, i remember watching a video in an internet cafe of him explaining how to mix without touching the vinyl, riding the pitch till you get the tracks locked. This was about 6 years ago and i have been mixing that way ever since i watched that video. Don't waste money on lessons, watch those videos, practice and enjoy :)

Well getting lessons will be a bit pointless if you can't practise. Better off watching videos on the net.

download virtual dj, have some fun messing around, and watch dj tutors videos. I didn't own a single piece of dj equipment but had all the theory down from watching his videos until I luckily won his last christmas giveaway of reloop cd players and a reloop mixer and I've progressed drastically since
