Cant wait for this only 7 big sleeps till we find out who takes this years world title.

Some weird scenarios spring to mind

1st lap Alonso and Vettel go crunch .Vettel out and Teflonso at the back of the field

Massa fights from 20th place on the grid to lead the race going into the last lap of his home gp. Alonso in 4th 1 minute behind 3rd place and Hamilton in 2nd.

Rob Smedley on radio "Filipe Fernando is faster then you stop immediately"

Massa stops Alonso takes 3rd and the title.

Riots in Brazil last till Australia

Whats your weirdest idea of how the title will be won?

With no controversy what so ever :pac:

Schumacher realises that Vettel is a threat to his record of seven world titles and also wants to help out his old friends in Ferrari out. With nothing left to lose he deliberatively crashes into Vettel as he is being lapped. This hands the title to Ferrari and Schumacher will have had the most memorable comeback in history.

Vettel to qualify pole, & blitz the rest of them by a second a lap in the race....oh wait :o

I kind of expect some penalty to be inflicted on Vettel, the way it would happen might vary.

Vettel to go bang or crash with a bit of rain, Alonso on podium with Massa and Raikkonen. I'll take that.

Funny how FIArrari ceased to exist stopped when Shumi, Todt, Mosely left their posts.

Anyways I'll go with what Recyclebin said.

The world title will go right down to the dying laps of the race. Red Bull, Ferarri, McLaren and Lotus will all race hard. A terrific display of driving ability and tactical nous will be on display. The race ends without contoversy and a world champion is declared after a hard days racing. The 2 title protagonists shake hands and acknowledge each others own abilty. There are no disqualifications or claims of unsportsmanship. The crowd in Interlagos and TV viewing public will all agree they witnessed a great climax to the season. F1 basks in a great season and no politics uglied the spectacle.
    Or am i naive?

Grosjean and Maldonado take out absolutely everyone except Karthikyan in the first corner, and due to an obscure and little-known regulation, Karthikyan gets 300 points for being the only finisher.

    No conspiracy but epic controversy

Webber takes Vettle out with two laps to go. Alonso, who sitting in 5th behind Hamilton and Massa is gifted 3rd and the championship on the last lap when Massa doesn't brake and drives straight into Hamilton in the last corner taking both out.

Not sure who it will end up being but I'm going for a breakdown of some sort deciding it.

Webber takes Vettle out with two laps to go.

He's never going to win the title, if he wants to be remembered fondly by the fans he should take Vettel out.

If i was ferrari i'd set massa's car up purely for quali to get ahead of vettel and then accidentally hit vettel on the run to the first corner

I'd take another renault alternator failure. On the #1 car this time..

alonso will win, by hook or by FIA crook .

same as irvines 'loose wheelnut' when schuie broke his leg

Hamilton on pole, Vettel 2nd and Alonso 3rd after quali. It rains heavily and Vettel looses some places on the first corner. As the race goes on Vettel moves up and Hamilton pulls ahead of the pack. So with about 10 laps left it's 1. Hamilton 2. Alonso 3.Raikkonen 4. Webber 5. Vettel. Hamilton is +10 seconds on Alonso and Webber is + 20 on Vettel. Alonso begins to catch Hamilton and should get behind him with about a lap to go. Webber is asked to let Vettel past he he isn't slowing down for anyone but soon after develops a KERS problem.

So its a race between the two pairs to see who wins.

Possible scenario here for the Brazil GP.

    Webber quallifies ahead of Vettel.

Red Bull "sudenly" find a gearbox fault with Webbers car and he gets a 5 place penalty.

Vettel automaticly then moves up 1 place.

Alonso goes and wins the race.

But by moving up 1 place on the starting grid, this helps Vettel to win the drivers title by 1 single point.

Wonder if Ferrari would then throw their toys out of the pram at this,if it were to happen...even though they did it themselves??::pac::pac::D

Red Bull are changing over to a new design of altenator that Renault gave their other teams to use and test successfully for the last 3 races.

Red Bull will have these new better altenators for Brazil.

Red Bull would never do that. But if Vettel needs to pass Webber to win I could see him suddenly having an power issue and the car just stops on track.

Could you just imagine the uproar and bitching and moaning from Ferrari though, especially Luca Di Montezemolo.:pac::rolleyes:

After Massa crashes into Vettels Red Bull in the pit lane causing Seb to take over Webbers car,
Massa is disqualified and Ferrari replace him on the grid with Nelson Piquet jnr citing a hereto unknown clause in the regulations.

Alonso takes an early lead and when the RBR Kers fails/wing cracks/wheels fall off Sebs car Fernando is set for the WDC.
However the predicted heavy rain arrives and Nelson spins one lap to early resulting in a red flag and With the new race time limit Alonso and Ferrari are stunned as the FIA stuck to the rules and only apply half points (thanks to Nelson spinning too soon) resulting in Fernando losing the championship by half a point !

Btw 85% chance of heavy rain on Saturday

To me, this isn't much of a conspiracy as it's a real possibility. I wouldn't be one bit surprised if anyone from Ferrari didn't have a quiet word with Massa and told if the opportunity for a "mistake" arises, don't worry about it. Or maybe it's just me...

Im sure they would just tell Webber to get out of the way and Webber would do exactly what is best for his team. :)

The chances of rain are getting higher I think for Sunday, I'll be an absolute mess on Sunday watching this, if Vettel can overhaul a 15 point advantage in the final race, then Alonso can overhaul a 13, well here is hoping anyway.
