Is there anywhere that I can find car mats that will fit my car perfectly.
Was in Halfords earlier and what they had seemed useless and some had a bad fit.

Is there are site that delivers mats that are made specifically for a make and model?

OP, I have had some dangerous situations in the past with badly fitted or generic car mats running up over the accelerator pedal etc.

Now i only get fitted mats which can clip into original positions.

I have ordered the last few for my two cars from these guys:

    http://www.tailored-carmats.co.uk/

Prompt delivery and i believe they are located in NI.

From my experience, darker colours are better as they don't get as visibly dirty as lighter colours.

    But great quality nonetheless.

That's why I wanted them perfectly fitted as it can be dangerous.
    Thanks that website looks great.

Micks Garage mate, I just got mats for my GP and they only took 2 days to arrive - come with a fitting kit if neccesary too and only cost just shy of €30 (free delivery).

I wouldn't recommmend these, I ordered same for my Xtrail on the basis that they were exact fit and had a hole for the floor clip, in the past they did, what arrived was a mat where I was expected to "screw" the retaining clips into my floor carpet. No chance. Mats were returned and I got actual exact fit mats on ebay in the end.

Halfords do vehicle specific mats as well. You just have to speak to the right person in the shop. Got a perfect set for my car for about €60.

From following the OP's other threads he just bought an Audi A5.

BTW Halfords is the last place I'd go buying things like mats, way overpriced for that sort of stuff.

    Halfords wasnt great !
Seen some on ebay that i will probably go with. I never thought of ebay because i've never had an account but i'll get one of the lads to order it for me.

I got my car mats perfectly tailored to fit in authorised dealer's garage. :P

The price was surprisingly attractive - approx. 40 euro per set. :D

Wherever you buy from, make sure you know what the quality of the carpet itself (material, pile, weight etc) and also the trim is beforehand. A mat is not a mat is not a mat.

Got the mats online from Mick's Garage.
Only took a day to deliver and got them at half price too :)

Great service for anyone that's looking.

When I bought my A4 it had not mats, I found an Original Set of used mats on eBay for 40 euro delivered. they were in perfect condition.

Second option is tailored mats from a third party off eBay or MickGarage or MCGstyling ... but you can never beat an Original set of Mats :D

I was looking for a proper set of mats for my Accord a few weeks ago.Searched Ebay, the mats were about €40 but the flippin postage was something crazy like €50 on top of that.
Had a look at that bespoke carmat site mentioned above, and it came in dear enough.
As a last resort, rang a main dealer and guess what? They were the feckin cheapest of the lot!

That can happen but few even think to ring the dealer.
I got original Audi rubber mats for my A5 from the dealer for something like 50 euro for the front.. Great for winter time. I've also got some ebay mats but quality was poor although they did fit at least.

Mine were €60 total for the complete set of four mats plus the clips for the driver's side mat were included.
A couple of years ago I floored my GS300 and the accelerator jammed open because it caught on a non-OEM mat which had slid forward. It took a bit of very quick thinking to avert a disaster, but suffice it to say, ALL my driver's side mats will be clipped in place for as long as I live!
