How long out of warranty, where did you get it, and what's the problem?

Its way out of warranty. Discussed that with blackberry support
It has the drained battery issue and will not charge. Tried the solutions found on the internet and from blackberry support and none work.
Any hints on companies who will knowledgeable enough to open it, charge it and fix it for a fee?

Just because it's out of warranty does not mean you're not entitled to get it repaired for free from wherever you bought it from, depending what caused the issue. Irish consumer law requires that electonic goods last a reasonable period of time and your issue may fall under this protection and therefore the shop you bought it from should repair or replace it for you.

In relation to paying to get it fixed, sorry I cannot help with that one.
