    Hi Folks,

    Quick question.

Looking at booking a trip to St Johann starting 5th Jan.

Its not the highest resort in the world at all. Does it suffer from poor snow due to this?

    Cheers,

    John

Quick tip any resort that claims to have 100% snowmaking coverage has probably had issues with snow in the past.

As I have said on here time and time again Mother nature does what she wants when she wants & you are never guaranteed snow in any resort.

It’s a nice resort with decent skiing and January should be ok as it is cold and they can run the cannons non stop if required.

Oh I've ski'd enough times to know that the snow will fall when its ready or wants. :)

Was just concerned about the temp/altitude.

Booked Mayrhofen anyway. Time to start checking Snow-forecast every few hours.

    Cheers for the reply.
