The G&G F2000 is just awesome, bullpup gives you the best of both worlds, compact design with good range and very ergonomic indeed

Plus, they are FPS adjustable, which is very good for away games in the UK and beyond ;)

However, there are only two colours available as far as I'm aware and few add-ons, plus suitable mags can be an issue, just something to keep in mind and even then, I'd still get at least one for the collection :D

Moved from Airsoft Adverts to Airsoft Questions.

Also when using airsoft adverts please refrain from using the Otherprefix as this is intended for mod use.

Lastly please read the charter's for the airsoft forum use of TXT SPK is not allowed.

The G&G F2000 is an absolutely cracking piece of kit; version 6 gearbox is rock solid - much better alignment than the likes of the venerable version 2 due to the motor cage. However the gearbox is not without its kinks; due to the design of the gun (the gearbox floating in the body) the gun can often lose the semi-automatic feature, though all that is required is to re-seat the gearbox (or you can modify the cut-off lever, though I prefer maintenance as opposed to modification).

Design wise the fact that it is a polymer bullpup rifle means you have a nice long barrel in a smaller more lightweight package than the more traditional battle-rifle style. Ergonomically speaking the foregrip can be quite uncomfortable depending on your hand size.

The widely reported magazine issue is due to a one of the gearbox locking screws sitting on the underside of the gearbox inside the magwell; with a mag inserted the offending screw sits just in front of the trap door of the high cap mag.
For midcap magazines all you need to do is file away a small portion (approx 3-4mm) off of the top of the raised portion of the mag. Just line up the mag with the high cap that came with it and you'll be able to see very clearly where to file. 10 seconds with a dremel, or 5 minutes with a file and you're sorted.

One of the main features of the F2000 is the ability to fine-tune your gun's power, as well as the quick spring change feature. Now since the V6 gearbox uses slightly longer springs, so you can get a slightly lower power out of standard springs than you would expect. Thankfully, as mentioned previously, you can adjust and tune power very easily.

Since the F2000 is part of G&G's higher end, the gun ships with a 6.04mm Tightbore Barrel and comes with G&G's cold rubber bucking (i.e. the G&G Green hop up rubber); no need to change either in my opinion. Only think I would recommend changing is the motor...I've never liked G&G motors, so replacing 'em with a Neodymium magnet motor will yield much nicer results.

I have one and they're surprisingly heavy. The polymer used in the G&G version is amazing and extremely sturdy. The only real drawback is mag compatibility as mentioned.
    So
    Pro's
    Solid gun, extremely durable
Range and accuracy are good out of the box (but won't kill it to throw in a better hop/barrel combo after a while
    They look awesome :p
The gearbox is just a hunk of metal, it's very impressive when removed from gun, can't see it breaking anytime soon
    G&G :)

    Con's
It being a bullpup it suffers from the usual semi problems (it stops working after a while, easy fix though).
like mentioned, mags are a problem. basically only hi caps will fit in it. I modded 10 KA mids to fit it and now it feeds grand on them (note that the modded ones will not feed properly in most M4's)
it's pretty heavy compared to a standard M4
the RoF is decent but the gearbox and the gun itself can take a lot more, so upgrading the rate of fire is an option

My Dremel is over worked as it is, oh well and time to DIY 10 or so mags :D

I think whenever you start airsoft you should be given a dremel. It is without a doubt the most necessary tool :D
