I am helping a friend who is being made redundant to start their own business. They are going for the STEA instead of job seekers, can they also avail of the normal short upskilling training courses like FETAC as per job seekers recipients.

    Cheers

    Peter

It depends on the scheme Peter. Afaik, springboard yes, BTEI yes, fas and lmetf, discretionary. First stop should be the local partnership company and/or jobs facilitator who will know about what local courses are coming up. What level FETAC are we talking about?
