New on this forum, looking for info/directions on above..

Looking to put together a small portable sound system, battery operated with amp and speakers, to play an mp3 player, outdoors to a small crowd of people.

research so far has me looking at an SLA battery linked to a T AMP(20 20) and onto a set of speakers. A few questions:

    1. How would I attach the battery to the amp? wires from the positive/negatives to the power plug-in on the amp?

    2. If I want to power a 100W speaker, how do I gauge what ampage I need in the amp? a lot of T AMPs are 20W, would this be enough?

Maybe someone has a suggestion other than T-Amps and SLA batteries, very welcome

    Thanks in advance
