Green pixels on screen

    Laptop is Asus K55VD
    Operating System Windows 8
    Graphics Card Nvidia GEforce 610m

I turned on my laptop this morning and have got green pixels all over the place, if I move a window or change the desktop they will move with the change. Any ideas what he problem might be, have a feeling it might be a loose cable, but it's a new laptop and sort of wary about opening it up.The problem appears to be getting worse!

    Thanks for any help!

Best thing to do is to get onto Asus so. http://support.asus.com/ServiceHome.aspx?SLanguage=en

Thanks for the link. Didn't find any answers there but I'll try giving them an email if I don't find a solution. I have a strong feeling that this problem is due to something being loose, as the green dots aren't fixed, they don't appear over most solid colours for example, and text isn't affected so much, images get really badly affected.

Anyway was thinking of opening up this laptop and see if I can see anything as I really need this laptop for a course I'm doing.

Anyone got any ideas what the actual problem might be?

Wait till Asus reply to your email whatever you do do not open it, it sounds like a faulty screen not somehng loose. Once you open it your warranty is gone.

Have been dealing with crapy replies from the Portuguese Asus Support. Have contacted Uk/Ireland one instead.

Anyway could very well be a faulty screen, finally got around to testing it with an external monitor and the picture was fine, so sounds like the screen alright.
