"Medical" marijuana trading company.

    Is it legal to run a company in the Irish jurisdiction, that trades a product (medical marijuana), between jurisdictions where the supply and consumption is legal?

    I'm not even talking about landing problematic product in Ireland....I'm more considering Ireland as a possible a international logistics and financial service hub, for such enterprises.

    I'm not talking about the illegal evil marijuana....I'm mean the life saving medicinal variety.

    I think the minimum you would need would be a licence and that would only likely be issued for a specific chemical compound, not for the plant.

    The Misuse of Drugs Act 1977 allows the minister to grant a licence in relation to drugs.
