Tuned it via add channels on Sky+ HD box. Audio is ok for me. Doesn't seem to be native HD, rather upscaled SD. Also ratio is 16:9 pillarbox, i.e. TV in widescreen mode, but original material correctly displayed in 4:3.

Strange that your getting Audio. I have tried on two boxes and neither of them are giving out audio - They both claim its there is audio but no sound!

I just tuned this in & during what must have been ad breaks (there was just a RT backdrop image with the ticker running along the bottom) the presenter could be heard talking to upcoming interviewee's where he was checking the feed & de-briefing on the questions that would be asked when they came back on air. Kinda funny that's going out on this channel.

I was getting video and audio at the time I stored it in other channels earlier this evening, but after checking it again just now, there is now just a graphic with no audio unlike RT on channel 512 in the EPG.

I read elsewhere Russia Today HD launched today 16/12/12 on 28, 19 and 13 East. Channel name still 53148 on 28.

Launched alright. Still titled as 53148 in Other Channels on a Sky+ HD box.

Also RT in SD at channel 512 in the EPG has switched to 16:9 as well, but an incorrect flag is still switching the TV to 4:3 ratio for now.
