Is the limit not 3 weeks? There is a very simple way to get out of this...I will leave you to work it out yourself!!

If they are over the 2 weeks but under 3 weeks, dehorn using anesthetic.

I notice in the SCWS Terms&Conditions it uses the term "except where the buds do not emerge within this period" refering to the 3 weeks.
What then.......? Wait until the buds are visible and disbud using anesthetic?
I know I see plenty of calves at 2 weeks and not a sign of the horn!

taught it was 3 weeks but 2 or moreuse an anesthetic do mine around 10 days alot easier if farming on ur own but odd 1 dont appear till nearly 4 weeks what can u do
