Throwing round the idea of getting a small loader in the new year. The kramers seem to be tidy loaders and not a bad price.
The likes of this is what I was looking at: http://www.donedeal.ie/for-sale/tractors/4141167
anybody got any experience of them?

krammer loaders are built of decent stuff, expensive but quality, I have pictures of one working in desperate conditions on my other computer.

That one looks clean. Looks a lovely handy size for about a yard. I would like a loader to lift higher than 11 feet though.

I have driven a few of them on sites in Germany, more than 10 years ago though but they were a very good machine then and easy to operate.
The one you have linked to in the first post looks like a good deal all though paint and good photos can hide a lot.
Parts are the only reason that I can think of not to get one here but that might not be a problem either.
Go for it I'd say. I would like one too.;)

Get mechanic to check it out first. We've all been there.

What does she come equipped with? You could run up another couple of k buying gear for it v.quickly. Bring a mechanic with you to look at it. That said Kramers have a fairly good rep. Couldn't imagine being without a loader around the yard myself. No comparison between tractor and loader and a machine like the one you're asking about. Pricewise the thing that struck me was how much is a new Quicke or similar loader for a tractor? I have an idea that you wouldn't have much change out of the price being asked for that Kramer.

Careful!!That thing looks like its been resprayed to within an inch of its life...see all the overspray around the pallet forks?..also the paint looks thin in patches round the cab..I hate repaints...no pics of the interior..hours?..year?..price??? whats wrong with these clowns who dont give a price?
If you like that kinda machine consider a jcb 2cx, 4wd, 4ws, loads about, a really dinky machine thatll turn on a sixpence...big cab, good lift, and an air compressor fitted too!!great tool..happy hunting...

Often wondered about those 2cx myself, what sort of weight would they lift?

they'll lift 2 tonne, but don't expect the machine to be too stable if its up in the air!!..the only drawback to them really...and a tad underpowered for say drawing bales in the field...easy on juice tho...

I was thinking that myself. would probably need to upgrade the tractor while I was at it. a loader like that might work out better value.

The 2cx was the other option I was thinking of.

I wasnt going for that perticular machine (i think it might be a bit hot) but there seems to be a few 512s and 312s going up north for decent money

You are probably looking at near 10k all in - inc VAT for a loader and implements now!

Makes that one look cheap but again caution advised.

Had one for five years never let me down parts can be expensive but kevin walker in uk has dealership and I found him to be excellent always very helpful and offers secondhand bits too . Also he will tell you the bearing numbers to source as I was fitting a new wheel bearing . Very tidy and will lift a bale no bother . Only small problem was hoses a bit untidy for grab but that's very minor

Thanks Jerdee! thats the kind of info I was looking for. what model did you have?

312se 5ft shear grab rear steer not as much to go wrong as all steer but hard to get . Quick attach linkage in front deutuz air cooled very good on juice . Only left it off as had another fresher one

If you had it to stretch you'd pick up a TR200 Matbro for around 10k.

Never had one ourselves but friend had one for years and heaped praise on it. Maybe someone here has more info on them but they seem to be a nice yoke.

Thinking of buying a manitou 627/ 736 or jcb 310 or Kramer 750 or Volvo l45. Not 100% which one to get. Mainly dairy farm with diet feeder. Drove 736 manitou seems handy loader will pull a trailer great tight turning circle.
