I`m going to be in Kilkenny next weekend and noticed a foreign film festival on.
I think I`m going to try and see at least one of the movies. They seem to be all European and I think I have only seen Troll Hunter out of all the ones listed.

I`ll be there on the 24th and 25th so if anyone can a recommend a film from the list I would great appreciate it.:)

    Loads of great films!

If you can only see one film on that list: Let the Right One In! One of the greatest horror films ever made and one of my favourite films of the last decade. Forget about the redundant American remake.

4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days is amazing! You'll probably never want to watch it again, ever. But it's a truly unforgettable film.

If you looking for a thriller, check out Headhunters. Pretty gruesome and darkly comic at the same time. Sorta along the lines of No Country for Old Men, though not nearly as good.

The Kid With a Bike is excellent. A naturalistic fairy tale, one of the best films of the year i thought.

Once Upon a Time in Anatolia is amazing as well. Glacially paced, but utterly mesmerising. Another one that will be making my top 10 list at the end of the year.

Thanks for the recommends. Totally missed Let the Right One In on the list which I have seen as well and absolutely loved. Actually I`d be tempted see it again just for the bigger screen experience.

I`m going to check out the show times on the others you have mentioned. I will have the Mrs with me but she loves her films too so shouldnt narrow my choices.

I'd second Headhunters, which is very darkly funny throughout.

All excellent and all on Netflix US, apart from The Kid With a Bike (haven't seen it yet but want to).

I went to see revanche and headhunters today so far. Both were excellent.

After headhunters the lead actor in it, Aksel Hennie, did a quick question and answer session on the film with the audience. He came across very well and very down to earth.

Going to The Hunt at 10 tonight. Hope it's as good as these two were.
