Micra Dash Indicator Repair?

My Daughters car failed the NCT because the visual dash indicator for the LEFT turn is not working, its a K12 2003 model with 51k miles.

It seems to be a common problem with these Micras so I am hoping someone here will have an idea on how to fix this.

I have tried another dash and that worked but the warning light (Red Key) comes on after a while I think its because the dash does not recognise the key. (NATS)

Other than this the car runs perfectly, in fact I believe the failure was incorrect as the audible signal is still working correctly. I cant find a detailed list of NCT failure reasons to refute the failure.

Did you check bulbs in that "faulty" indicator?

All bulbs checked, i think its a circuit board problem. Thanks for the pdf.
