Very sad news. I'm not a big bike fan and wouldn't be familiar with the name, but I do feel very saddened at any loss such as this in motorsport. May he rest in peace.

    R.I.P. Very sad news indeed.
Thoughts with his friends, family, team and the wider biking fraternity.

BTW - I recommend not watching the footage embedded in the link - extremely distressing scenes.

A touring car driver was also killed in Macau this morning when his ex-WTCC Chevrolet Cruze crashed at Mandarin (the fastest point of the course).

Was the the red flag near the end of one of the sessions? Just caught a bit of one before reading about the motor cyclist who died. I was looking forward to this weekend for a while, sheen's been taken off more than a bit.

    RIP

*Sidenote: thought it was hugely disrespectful of the camera man getting in the way of the the paramedics in that news report, scum!

Don't follow bikes, still hugely sad for any competitor to die. RIP, and thoughts and prayers for his family.

Disgusted by the footage, shoving a camera in his face in that condition and when the medics are desperately working on him, even getting in the way!

You'd wonder why they feel it necessary to broadcast that footage.

    RIP
