    I bought a bike and has Mavic 32 spoke open pro on the front with campagnola record hub and Mavic CXP 32 with campagnola record hub and as a newbie to biking was wondering if these are decent wheels and what price would be considered an upgrade, would askiums be a step up?

    They're terribly wheels, you should sell them to me, immediately!;)

    Seriously though, they're a great set of wheels. You have a great hub - Campy record, a great rim with Mavic, and a high spoke count. When you're going in to the hills, you'll appreciate having 30+ spokes.

    I got bit my the high tension wheelset craze and the low spoke count craze. After a season of them, I went back to my Mavic Open Pro CD - Dura Ace wheelset. They're not as light as the Ksyriums I wanted to get, but they're bomb proof.

    Don't bother wasting your money buying wheels, you have a great set as is which will last for years.
