RTE TWO HD Picture quality

    I was watching 2 broke girls in HD on RTE two and I did not think that the HD picture was that good. IT was much better than the sd picture on sky but I was expecting better. I want to know what other people think?

    It was probably upscaled from SD to HD, not true HD. Done when the source material is in SD.

    Before it started, the continuity announcer said the programme was on RTÉ Two & RTÉ Two HD. The EPG info also had "HD" in the programme details. Picture quality seemed OK for the 30 secs or so that I saw of it.
