I can't find the actual rate of relief for dental treatment on the Revenue website - tried calling them but they told me to read the website!!!

Simple question (fromme and my other half) - I'm hoping someone can answer this:

    Cost of Braces: €4,000
PAYE employee on the high rate of tax (41%) paying tax for over 12 yrs
How much approx. tax relief will I get back?

    Cost of a Bridge: €2,000
PAYE employee on the high rate of tax (41%) paying tax for over 9 yrs
How much approx. tax relief will I get back?

I know there have been changes in rates in recent rates, but I'd like to know if I get 10% back, 20% back, 50% back ...No one seems to be able to give me an answer.
    Thanking you in advance

Relief on medical expenses is at the standard rate i.e. 20%.
So if you paid €6,000 for non routine dental treatment you would get a refund of €1,200.
