    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could please tell me what the procedure is for resitting part of the leaving cert? I just missed out on veterinary last year and I really want to be a vet. I was wondering if for points you can only count subjects sat in the same year of the leaving cert or if you could resit certain subjects and if you could mix and match points from different years?

    Thank you. :)

Points have to be obtained in one sitting, but matriculation subjects don't. So if the points are 585 this year, you have to get that from one sitting of the leaving, but if you have say a language and chemistry done already then you don't have to do those as part of it this year.
