    Of all places. Seeing as Tara has been studied and written about for what is hundreds of years you'd think we'd know of all the larger sites in the area. To me it looks to be similar size to Rath Laoghaire. It's mad how the traces of previously unknown sites can be spotted so easily.

    'Tis mad, but understandable - the quality of imagery available is constantly improving. The changeover to digital has had a wider effect than just Saorview ;)

    Slightly OT, but today they announced finding traces of human habitation/settlement on the banks of the River Forth River the new bridge is being built.

    It allegedly dates from around 10,000 BC, just at the end of the last Ice Age.
