Im not sure if this is the right place to post this but i struggle to chat up girls when im out. Im single again and hitting my 30s so nights out are usually just havin the craic with my mates. Im confident in every other way so its not a confidence thing but when im out im really self concious of making a complete fool of myself. Im usually with my mates and they are all married off, so chatting to girls is not always high on the agenda! More nights are just havin the craic and seein how it goes but it rarely ever goes anywhere as i dont really make the effort! What do you say to complete stranger?? Without coming across like a quizmaster??

Hi is a good start! Seriously! It's not so much what is said but whether you keep talking really. Even something like "great song isn't it!" etc. Anything. Anyway, pubs/clubs are not a great place once you start heading for the 30 mark. Going out with your married friends isn't so great either. You need to get going out with a few single lads as well or it helps if the group you're in gets talking to a few other groups of girls etc. Married lads are going to stick with each other really because they're only out for the craic and aren't looking for anyting else really.

Take up a hobby as well. I don't mean Ham Radio or something like that that's a guy centric thing, but maybe a night class or something like hill walking that takes in guys and gals from all walks of life.

At the end of the day too even if you're crap at chatting up, someone might come along that changes that for you. You never know! Attraction works and if they're interested they'll get plenty of talk out of you and you'll become more confident and reciprocate as well.

    Hey what's the craic ? ... buy me a drink ... you look cute ... etc ..

Women actually want to talk to other people, so just remember a few key things, dont be a douche, be confident in who you are, look at her, speak clearly, and just talk to her, ask what her name is. etc .. it's not difficult.

Dont worry about making a fool of yuor self either, women love a guy who's mature enough to make a fool of him self in front of her..

Ask questions that get them to talk about themselves ... People love to talk about themselves.

Sounds chessy but is it all about just being genuine, being yourself girls pick up on men who are sincere. :)
