I've debunked the theory of parallel universes this morning

    if they existed and any number of infinite outcomes were possible(if what i hear that there is infinite number of parallel universes is correct) then there would be some overlap in universes as those in alternate universes discover how to pass into our dimension! even if the laws of physics don't allow for it, in another universe the same laws of physics wouldn't apply enabling those from another realm to pass into ours.

    It would probably be the Prize for Science if you were going to get anything. Which I'll be frank and say, you won't.

    Sorry Eden.

    parallel=the same
    Therefore laws of physics apply.
    -><- Contradiction.

    Therefore you are not parallel Bieber.

    In my extensive study of 3 Michio Kaku documentaries I can confirm that laws of physics would not (have) be the same in these alternate worlds.

    I think this theory will earn you the Special Olympics equivalent of a Nobel Prize.

    But perhaps those universes that have figured this out simply have not passed into our universe but another one altogether? Maybe our universe has a sign on the door saying "Note to all other universes: Don't go here or you will fuxxor up everything"

    If there are no parallel universes therefore everything is predetermined therefore God exists therefore people are the image of God and have the ability to fly.

    Amongst the infinite set of possibilities our universe is one possibility that when it was realised expunged all other possibilities.

    In another universe your worst nightmares have come true and you are a hideously ugly big fat mess and if you see this other you, you will be so distraught, you will spontaneously combust - stop thinking now to be on the safe side.

    I called Morgan Freeman the minute I read your post and told him what you had written.:)

    He said. "Meh!":rolleyes:

    I'm still trying to figure out all the nuances that I suspect are hidden in that reply.;);)

    If you had checked alternative universe 652876B, you would have discovered that you have indeed been awarded the prize you seek.

    By the same logic, in some universe parallel universes wouldn't exist...

    Maybe that has happened, but in a parallel universe?

    In another, far off parallel universe, Justin Bieber is obsessed with you. It's why he split from his girlfriend in this one.

    We're in the universe where that doesn't happen but that's not to say it didn't happen in another universe that we're not in.

    that '=' was chosen to represent 'is equal to' because there is nothing as equal as two straight paralel lines

    Transition by Banks as I've mentioned before, for anyone who might enjoy the concept.

    "Imagine a world that is one of infinite parallel worlds, that hangs suspended between triumph and catastrophe, the dismantling of the Wall and the fall of the Twin Towers, in the shadow of suicide terrorism and global financial collapse. Presiding over this world is the Concern, an all-powerful organisation whose operatives possess extraordinary powers. There is Temudjin Oh, an unkillable assassin who journeys between the high passes of Nepal, a version of Victorian London and a wintry Venice; Adrian Cubbish, restlessly greedy City trader; and the Philosopher, a state-sponsored torturer who moves between the time zones with sinister ease. Transition is a high-definition, hyper-real apocalyptic fable for terrible times."
