Vodafone performance plus coverage

    Hi,

    The Vodafone coverage map for my area indicates that the Performance Plus service is available where I live (northern part of Drogheda town). Vodafone claim that this gives faster speeds than the normal.

    Now I would tend to be a bit sceptical of these claimed coverage maps provided by service providers. However, if anyone in the area where I live has any experience of using the performance plus , I would appreciate your views.

    On a more general point, is performance plus much faster than the standard speed anyway?

    My past expereince of vodafone coverage maps is that they aren't too bad, if you compare them with the likes of 3's "fantasy" maps they are excellent.

    But I don't think you'll get a massive increase in speed if any because the speed is controlled far more by the number of users connecting to the mast than the speed of a modem.
