Boots Interview??

I recently applied for a job in Boots and was asked to attend an interview and "in-store assessment" :o. I'm a 20 year old man and am wondering what to wear when they say "smart dress". I was thinking a shirt and tie and smart trousers but someone then suggested a full suit. Is this too much? I think I will be asked to cover some basics tasks and the e-mail stated there will be some exercises carried out on the floor. Also, if anyone has had any experience on what a Boots interview is like it would be much obliged! :D

A friend went for one of these interviews very recently for a Christmas temp position. She is fairly shy so found it a bit uncomfortable. Basically she had to approach people on the floor and have conversations with them. Ask if they needed help, offer a basket and try to sign them up for a loyalty card.

Dress wise for a retail interview, shirt tie and smart pants will do grand.
