    Hi,

Does anybody know of a good Economics tutor, specifically for Micro quants?

I'm aware of the maths and economics support centres, but would just like some 1 to 1 time to go through some things.

Perhaps alternatively somebody who's familiar with / did very well in Microeconomics 1 (previously known as intermediate microeconomics) module may be interested in making some cash.

    Thanks.

(feel free to PM me if you don't want to post details here)

The economics support centre is one-on-one?

Yeah but you get about a 10 minute window, and you can't ask questions on current topics, as you have online assessments to submit, which kind of defeats the purpose somewhat.

Also, without naming names, some of the tutors in Economics support centre are unqualified to say the least. I'm reliably informed that one of the tutors is a Philosophy major who's doing a masters in a similar field in UCD and has been unable to answer a lot of questions people have gone with...

ha, that's pretty shocking. If you can't find someone might be a good idea to get in touch with the lecturer and ask them. They'll either know some of the masters/phd students or else they should know someone who can get in contact with them.
