I have recently applied for planning permission and because the site is in the same field as an ancient enclosure I have to get an archaeological impact assesment done. Does anyone know how much such an assesment should cost roughly? and can anyone reccommend an archaeologist in Co. Louth?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have got several done as part of planning applications, costs range for the amount of works involved but generally I've found between €800 and €1,500.
