B Eng Electrical / Electronic Engineering!

Hi Folks,

At the minute I'm doing a Foundation Degree in the above Subject in Belfast, will be finished in May 2013. One of my Lecturer's is from Galway and recommended NUIG for the full Degree in Electrical Engineering.

I'm just looking to hear from people who have finished the Course and who is currently in the process of getting through it. Pros and Cons!

Highly recommended, excellent job prospects in this area.

If you have any interest in software I'd recommend the Electronic & Computer Engineering course, best of both worlds.

Thanks powpow. The software area doesn't really interest me as much as the Electronics.

I'm still in two minds about where to go next year. Either the South or go to England. I believe the Government is doing away with the "Free Degrees" for Northern Irish Students next year.
