If you haven't taken drugs and your generally healthy you'll be fine. You'll probably have a specimen test.

Is this a factory floor job?

I did a medical for one

If it's a big factory then may have a nurse on site every day and this is part of their job.

Hearing test, just they give you headphones and put you in a booth and you raise your hand if you hear the sound and which side.

Bend over and touch your toes. If you can't that's fine, just see you have no serious complaints

    Squat down, general flexibility

Blow into a tube, test your lung capacity

Ask about your eyesight. It just some places have powder in the air and while you should wear googles, contact lenses may give you trouble.

Pulse rate test and blood pressure test.

The nurse can do all this.

If you have to come back again then you might meet the company doctor. That's if they want a 2nd opinion so they didn't pass or fail you, just the doctor will sign off what the nurses said.

Main thing they'll be looking for is back trouble if this is a factory job. They can't hire you and then have you missing months and months on sick leave with back complaints!

    Relax :)

If you're male he may also suddenly grab you by the balls and ask you to cough! It certainly took me by surprise back in the 1980s. (Apparently it's to check for STD's). Perhaps it has changed now.

Its for an office Job in a factory so noting to do with production, and I am male!
I do have a problem with my eyesight but if they only ask me to read letters it wont be a problem, only if they do the thing where you look at dots and press a button.

It really does depend on the type of job, and the company culture/environment too - ie it may include screening for illegal substances, or for eyesight, or for OOS issues.

However it's now the 21st century: if anyone grabs your balls outside of a consenting sexual encounter, then I'd suggest complaining to the guards.
