I know Thanksgiving is an American holiday but I'm curious, considering how many Americans have infiltrated Ireland, if there are any little events/dinner going on the 22nd? Thanks in advance for any replies!

I would expect a bit more though. there are celebrations for the french bastille day, chinese new year etc.

Also on independence day there is usually stuff going on in Dublin

I recently moved to Dublin from California and have been looking for Thanksgiving activities as well. The only thing I could find was a dinner put together by some American Ex-Pats. Heres the link http://www.meetup.com/dublin-expats/events/83671662/

Unfortunately, I don't think they have any more spots available. So if anyone knows of any other thanksgiving festivities I would be grateful. Also if anyone would be interested in celebrating Thanksgiving by going out, hitting the town, and having some fun, shoot me a message. :)

Woolshed on Parnell St. would be a good bet- they have a dedicated American sports room and always a good expat crowd...Doing a special t-giving menu as well
