There's a few Zumba classes on around the town, maybe you could look into that?

I have never been involved in it but hear the Harriers running club is quite good and caters for all levels of fitness so might be a good way of meeting people locally. Also did you think about the amateur dramatic society?

Sports clubs are a great way to meet people, as a previous poster said the harriers is a great place to meet people https://www.facebook.com/tullamore.harriers?ref=ts&fref=ts, Tullamore soccer club have a lady's tream and they are always looking for players of all ability's.
Also the Aura lesiure centre have lots of fitness clubs and classes, http://www.auraleisure.ie/tullamore , also the Tullamore martial arts centre has a wide collection of classes for all types of levels and fitness https://www.facebook.com/midlandsmartialartscentre?ref=ts&fref=ts , the great thing about joining clubs is not just getting fit but there is a great social element to it and they are a great way of meeting people

Dramatic society by all accounts is full of friendly outgoing people if you like that sort of thing.
Horse ridding, rowing club down by the canal, ladies gaa, church choir, bingo, country walking groups???

If all else fails then drinking yourself silly in the pubs around the town and banter with strangers in Roma Grill, Supermacs or Abbra Kabra afterwards always turns up strange surprises and builds an appreciation for the finer things in Tullamore!

    God I miss Tullamore!

also a squash club in tullamore if you are into that or want to try something new. There's tag rugby on during the summer in the rugby club.
