Dropped my feckin laptop last night and smashed the screen mad.gif.

Not too bad as it's 3 years old really only used for browsing and downloading stuff. Not looking for anything too powerful -
14 inch screen (15 inch max)
    i3 Processor
    4GB RAM

Not too bothered about hard drive as I can just take the 500GB one from my knackered laptop.

Happy to buy either here or the UK and using the an Post service to get it here.

    Cheers :)

It would be much cheaper to get the screen replaced or even doing it yourself (usually between €80-€120~) as that is still an excellent machine, it is what I'd do. If you want to upgrade though I'll move this over to laptops forum where people can advise :)

Thanks but I think you misunderstood me Nick - that is the spec that I am looking for :)

The machine I broke is a Dell Latitude E4300 Centrino Duo. It's about 3 years old, but one of the hinges is completely broken as well. The best I can do with this is sell the good bits methinks.
